- The President of Preferred Moving, Henry Cadle, was awarded Wheaton's Extra Mile Award. This prominent award is given to an individual who goes above and beyond to provide great service, does the extraordinary everyday and is a true team leader. The Extra Mile Award recipient is selected from nominations of fellow agents, drivers and Wheaton's corporate personnel.

- Certified Moving Consultants (CMC)
- Preferred Moving & Storage, Inc. has participated in the Certified Moving Consultant Program since 1994. To obtain the CMC designation, our sales department completes ongoing training in the moving and storage industry. The CMC program is implemented by the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA), an independent industry organization.
