Moving can be a challenge. So much to plan and think about, not to mention the packing! For the millions of Americans that relocate each year, a local or long-distance move often means moving unwanted boxed and canned goods. These items have to be packed, hauled, unpacked, and then put away in your new home.  So many of these food items will continue to sit on your shelves and will eventually get thrown away.
Perfectly good food goes to waste – and so many families in our own community could benefit from these boxed or canned goods. But finding a donation center, boxing up, and transporting these items would be another chore to add to your to-do list during your move.  Let us do the work for you – we’ll make it easy!

In partnership with Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization focused on collecting and distributing non-perishables for local food banks, we will collect and haul away your unwanted food items for you. All you have to do is set aside what you don't want to move. Our crew will pack up your unwanted non-perishable food items on moving day and deliver them to Gleaners Community Food Bank of SE Michigan.

You'll feel good knowing that your food has gone to a good cause and has helped feed families in need in your own community. Plus, you will have less to handle during your move – making your household move even easier!
