5. Second Hand Rose

Second Hand Rose is a resale shop located in Macomb County. The proceeds from this shop support Turning Point which is an organization providing comprehensive, free, and confidential programs for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking and their loved ones. Some of the donated items are distributed to survivors while other items are sold and the proceeds used to help support Turning Point's mission.

6. Donate Food When You Move

Over 480,000 children in the State of Michigan are food insecure.  Preferred Moving & Storage works closely with and proudly supports Move for Hunger.  Move For Hunger works with 1,100+ professional moving companies across the U.S. and Canada and supports the efforts of local community food banks.  Customers can set aside their unopened, non-perishable food items on moving day. Our crew will pack it up and deliver it to Gleaners Community Food Bank.  From there, your donations will be sorted and delivered to local families in need.
